Warranty Information

CarPartClassicX stands behind every reproduction part we ship. This page sets out what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a claim.

What is covered

Manufacturing defects: defects in materials or workmanship that affect fitment or function, identified within 30 days of delivery.
Incorrect supply: if we ship a part that does not match the OEM reference shown in the product title.
Transit damage: damage caused in shipping, reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos.

What is not covered

Wear, fading or cosmetic deterioration after installation.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, or use outside the part's intended application.
Fitment issues where the buyer ordered a part for a vehicle the OEM reference does not match.
Colour or finish variation within the tolerances of the reproduction process.

How to make a warranty claim

Email sales@carpartclassicx.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos.
We will reply within one working day with an assessment and (if accepted) return instructions or a replacement plan.
If a return is required, we will provide the correct return address and a shipping label where applicable.
Once we have received and inspected the returned part, we will process a replacement or refund within 10 business days.

Statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights. UK customers' rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. EU customers' rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (including the 14-day right to cancel for distance contracts) are unaffected.

Made-to-order parts

Many of our parts are produced on demand. They are warrantied for manufacturing defects on the same terms as in-stock parts, but are not returnable for change of mind once production has started. If a non-defective made-to-order return is accepted, a 10% restocking fee applies.
